Good Faith Estimate
As a client, you’re entitled to a Good Faith Estimate outlining the anticipated cost of your mental health care.
In accordance with federal law, healthcare providers are required to offer an estimate of charges to individuals who are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance. This includes services such as psychotherapy.
You have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate that details the projected cost of any non-emergency services, including therapy sessions.
You may ask for a Good Faith Estimate from me—or from any other provider—before booking your appointment.
If your bill ends up being $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge. Be sure to keep a copy or photo of your estimate for your records.
